jfc steve you’re basically doing the whole teenage breakup drama

Steve is such an overdramatic shit.  Gets the shit beat out of him?  “I CAN DO THIS ALL DAY.”  Best friend goes missing?  Immediately decides to go on foot to rescue him through a fucking war zone.  Best friend dies?  Flies a plane into the fucking ocean and refuses to give his coordinates to the person he’s actively talking to on the radio.  Wakes up in the future?  Beats the shit out of a million punching bags.  Discovers he’s actually working for his enemy?  DESTROY THEM.

Steve is 0% Calm Reason and 100000% Contrary Spite.

all other logical flaws aside, what pissed me off the most about nick’s absence in civil war was that nick fury would have never allowed tony to bring peter parker into the field. in ultimate, when nick finds out about peter, what he does is go and tell the kid that he should quit the super-heroics before he gets killed, or he can join shield and receive proper training before going back out. he understands that peter could very much end up dead, and he doesn’t take it lightly.

the fact that nobody (not even natasha or clint, who would be the next logical options!) says anything about peter being in the fight is ridiculous lazy writing, and the exclusion of nick is nonsense.

I’m still laughing my ass off at Scott in civil war. He has NO FUCKING IDEA what is going on in that airport fight. Like, he doesn’t even know the names of all his teammates. He calls Clint “arrow guy.” And I’m honestly not sure that they spent any time telling him what was going on or why they were fighting. Like it is 100% possible that he just showed up and cap was like “Ok fight these people” and Scott just went “ok cool, whatever you say, CAPTAIN AMERICA”
